Dear Friends & Community Partners,
I'm delighted to welcome you to iTrainNow dedicated to workforce solutions and life skills training. Here, we embark on a journey to transform lives and communities through education, empowerment, and opportunity. My name is Dr. Shirley Sims, Founder of iTrainNow, Inc. I have more than 20 years of experience in management, leadership, and working in complex systems, and 12 years in academia. Earlier in my career, I worked in the public sector for over eight years in the juvenile justice and foster care systems. Known for my problem-solving approach, I have curated multiple community partnership development and social impact programming.
As the Founder and CEO, I want to express my deep gratitude to our team, supporters, and partners who make our mission possible. It's your dedication and passion that drive us forward. Together, we will continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals and the organizations that support them.

Dr. Shirley Sims, Ed.D., MPA
Dr. Sims is a mother, published author, and proud advocate for autism acceptance. She remains connected to her community through her activism by serving in numerous leadership roles in various nonprofit organizations. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated; The 1st Vice President for the South Florida Chapter for National Forum of Black Public Administrators (NFBPA); and a committee member for Kappa Gamma Pi.
Dr. Sims holds an Ed.D in Leadership and Innovation from St. Thomas University, a Master of Public Administration from Troy University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida. She is an inaugural graduate of the Clark Atlanta University-HBCU Executive Leadership Institute.
Dr. Sims is a donor with the University of South Florida / Black Leadership Network where she two scholarship for young scholars - Dr. Shirley Sims Emerging Leader Scholarship and The Gibbs Family Scholarship. Both scholarships provide financial assistance to students at the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL.
Dr. Sims is also a past honoree of Community Heroes Awardee, Award winning business owner, 2021 Excellence in Education Awardee, and 2023 South Florida Women In Business Awardee.
